Area Sales Manager Magnetic Separation - Mining (all genders) for EMEA

Here's what you can do for us:

The Area Sales Manager EMEA will manage and induce the commercial strategy, aligned with the group business objectives, whilst taking into account local market and/or industry specifications & needs. Your main accountabilities are related to sales - & key account management, driven by an outstanding leadership and people management approach.
  • You will translate the overall commercial strategy into a tangible operational action plan, ensuring clear objectives and KPIs are in place
  • Develop, manage and consolidate all key accounts in EMEA
  • You will ensure and foster a solid client and partnership culture, ensuring early engagement, a healthy pipeline of new business and a strong network within the client organisation.
  • Ensure a high standard of sales excellence by improving sales operations and processes to ensure profitability and sustainability. Ensure business objectives are met and exceeded through regular performance management and KPI monitoring
  • Support supply planning activities through accurate sales forecasting & budgeting
  • You will keep abreast of market intelligence data relating to the use of Steinert Magnetic Separation products to identify and define market opportunities, increase the company's market share and secure further market penetration
  • Cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Flexibility to travel within EMEA for approximately 50% of time

You bring with you:

  • Completed engineering degree (B. Eng., M. Eng. or similar) in a relevant field of study
  • Mining experience
  • Relevant professional experience in mineral processing, preferably with magnetic separation, is essential
  • Project management experience
  • Fluent in English, other local languages desirable
  • Willingness to travel to Cologne for technical training
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel 50-60% of the time
  • Determination and ownership
